James Norman began recording seriously in the early 1970s as an apprentice at Deep South
Recording Studios under the tutelage of Hal Ellis, former guitarist with John Fred and
the Playboys (can you say "Judy in Disguise"?). Sunridge Studios has produced
recordings for the Salem Woodwind Quintet, the Northwest Winds, the Oregon Flute
Quartet, pianist Debra Huddleston, the flute and harp duo, RoseWynde, and a number
of solo artists.
Sunridge Recording Studios utilizes the highest quality equipment available, including
microphones by DPA, Schoeps, Neumann, and AKG, preamplification exclusively by
Millennia Media (HV-3D), and monitoring by Tannoy. The studios offer recording in full 24-bit to achieve the most faithful
reproduction of the musical performance.
Sunridge Studios has released five CDs for RoseWynde, including their newest CD, A Merry Litlle Christmas, and a new CD "Vienna Spice", solo piano arrangements of Christmas music by
Debra Huddleston.
Upcoming projects include the next CD in the Ayres series, "A Midsummers Song" by RoseWynde.

Above are cover images of the five CDs released by Sunridge Studios for the flute
and harp duo, RoseWynde, including A Merry Little Christmas, Morning by Morning, Winter Ayres, Distant Ayres, and Walking Tune, and Vienna Spice by pianist Debra Huddleston, and 'Whisper in the Moonlight' by Debra Huddleston and Sandy Norman
of transcriptions for flute and piano. All CDs above, plus the newest RoseWynde CD, "A Merry Litlle Christmas", are available through Amazon.com, and from the RoseWynde website.
